Meet Anthony Lancaster: Founder of Couture Grounds

anthony lancaster

Just another kid and a lawnmower… Anthony started cutting lawns in his neighboorhood. He loved working outside, meeting new people and learning lots of new skills.

Learning while staying connected to landscaping… Upon graduating High School, Anthony attended West Chester University to pursue a degree in Communications. During his time at W.C.U Anthony continued doing work in the landscape field. He worked for a local landscape company, and even took Horticultural and Functional Design classes at Rutgers University and Longwood Gardens.

Time to take the leap… After a couple years of working for another landscape company with a focus on landscape maintenance and smaller projects, Anthony was ready to start his own business. “I wanted to put my design and communcations backgrounds to use, and help people create their dream outdoor living spaces. I’m thrilled to be a part of what makes West Chester such a beautiful place to live for so many people.”

During the day, you can find Anthony running the day-to-day operations, visiting job sites and meeting with new and existing customers.

A Couple Of My Favorite Projects

I love the way this Gladwyne project turned out. The homeowner wanted a “cool reason” to use the lower part of his yard. This project includes a large putting green, paver patio and fire pit.

This outdoor living space in West Chester was so fun to be a part of. The pool and pavillion are the main anchors of the space, but the outdoor fireplace and tv keep you outside all night.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We worked with Couture Grounds (Anthony) on an outdoor patio project at our home on the Main Line. The projects scope included new bluestone, stairs, landscaping, lighting fixtures, and painting. The pricing was reasonable, the workers were efficient and polite, and throughout the entire project, Anthony was in close communication. The project turned out fantastic - within the agreed upon budget and on schedule. I will be recommending my friends to Anthony/Couture Ground!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Couture Grounds has transformed our outdoor experience. Anthony and his staff work fast, efficiently, and provide quality work at a fair price. Not only did they do a wonderful job edging and mulching multiple beds, they built a fantastic new deck (replacing the one that was no longer safe). They do mortar work as well. Couture Grounds is my new one stop destination for all things home related. Give them a call — you can’t go wrong with these guys

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I am very pleased with the design and craftsmanship of my Couture walkway and landscaping. They asked questions from the beginning, so everyone was on the same page. In addition, they left the property the way they found it + the Couture Grounds facelift.

We had an outdoor patio extension and outdoor fire pit done in addition to multiple traditional landscape from Anthony and his team. They are easy to work with, reliable, cost-effective, and timely in their work. I would highly recommend them.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Couture Grounds offer some of the best outdoor living areas I’ve seen. Being a contractor myself (in a different field) and having worked along side them on a few projects I can honestly vouch for them. Anthony and the crews attention to detail is second to none.

They take the time to really listen to your needs, customize a plan, and communicate throughout the entire process. They truly care about every one of their clients and you can see that in the work they do. Anthony is not only the owner but he will be hands on from start to finish of your project and will make sure you are completely satisfied along the way. Highly recommend!
